2nd September – Mission Impossible

Hey, everybody! There’s a hotfix coming out later tonight that Mollygos mentioned in yesterday’s blog post that we’ll have more information about once it is released. On the content side of things, us artists are hard at work on the next tier of biomes and missions.

I’ve been working on fixing up some of our unfinished missions so they are in a playable state, similar to how the Floran mission was prior to Pleased Giraffe. As well as being fun to play through, each mission is designed to tell you a bit more about each race’s culture and history. Check out this screenshot of the upcoming Apex mission!

31st July – Toxicity

Happy Friday, everyone! Here’s a snapshot of the new and improved Toxic biome – The last biome we have had to improve for the next upcoming update. These poisonous oceans are all that remains of a vast industrial complex, which lies scattered in pieces across the surface and the ocean floor.

13th July – Thar She Glows

It’s Monday, the start of a brand new week! Those of you with a keen eye might recognise that the art team have been going through the tiered biomes one by one and updating them with new graphics, content, structures and so on. Today we’ve been tackling the bio-luminescent sub-biome, which means new things, including fireflies and glowing blocks – A first for building! What do you think? This biome must be one of the easiest to traverse at night, huh?
