TheGamersCave Live Interview
November 25, 2012 in Media
Hey guys! Probably old news to a lot of you by now, but last month TheGamersCave interviewed Matthew Griffin of Wanderlust, and our very own Tiy. The interview was livestreamed and is up on Youtube for your listening pleasure.

First comment!.
I am Shefury!.
Great
third comment is mine
Boring as all fuck
unnecessary post that make wrong hope to me .. :/
*made (correcting myself)
I can see that… looking at your name.
eww.. thegamerscave, not the best group, crude, humorless, thoughtless bunch, but just tolerable enough to watch.. nope could not say that with a straight face… but thanks teasing us even more…
you know… tiy looks almost exactly like his starbound character
A coincidence, I’m sure.
The end of the world is less than in a month.. please..
I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS GAME !!
Oof … that was an awkward interview.
50 minutes and on was absolutely awesome! :D
More teasers for Starbound.
And btw Tiy is a beautiful man.
primer comentario de un español jajaja
Can you please stick to stuff that has to do with the GAME THE FORUM WAS CREATED FOR? also i cannot wait for starbound
This was pretty fun, even if it was lengthy! The way this went down is… Brandon (The Gamers Cave) scheduled Matt to come on for a live interview, and Matt secretly asked Tiy to join the call…
Some notable Starbound tidbits from Tiy include: item generation, the gravity gun (which was announced in this video for the first time, I believe), DRM, and PvP. Other than that, Tiy and Matt discuss their childhood dreams of making games, and Tiy is eventually lured into posting his picture in there for all his fans. =P
TIY LOOKS GAY AND I LOVE IT ♥
Uh.
Derp
I want to know more about Starbound, but this video is to long and boring :(
I sat and played some Torchlight while I listened. Basically we had the description of how weapon generation works, which we had, building using a gravity gun rather than just placing things, and the glowing line that comes from it so everyone can see what everyone else is working on, (Based on little big planet) how modding will probably work, (which is going to be SUPER easy to do for the most part, and easy to share as joining a server with new content will just download the files for any mods on the server automatically) and some details on PvP. Like how there will be set up areas for it if you want, or just turning it on in random places like in Terraria. There wasn’t a whole lot more that we heard that I recall.
i thought it was very interesting, i think you just aren’t used to the pod cast format yet :P
your supposed to listen to it while playing a game or something
I managed about a minute before i had to give up, too painful to listen to.
Starbound is still looking like Terraria v0.5 at this point, still haven’t seen anything that is going to the next level.
You’re either zero observant or clinically insane. You’ll see just how
much so upon release. Seriously, have you put any time at all into
researching or just peeked at a few screenshots?
If you just look at screens, yeah it looks about the same. But some of the videos of building, reading the blog posts of how things are generated and such, I’m very optimistic. Plus, they’re going to be adding more and more as time goes on.
at around 12:50 forward for a bit… isnt that kirby music playing? Awesome!
this is gonna be a mad game can’t wait to play with friends
They said that if your character dies it’s GONE! Damn, gotta be careful then, lol.
真是太棒了,期待中文版!!!
1:20:00 Pic of Tiy. XD
yeah awsome
Love that he played seiken densetsu!! what an amazing game and great basis for inspiration in taste and creation!!
This is a old interview, why post it now? I saw this video in October.
hmm
Wow, lots of negativity in the comments, what’s wrong guys is /b/ down so you gotta spew your hatred elsewhere? e.e
That interview was a -little- awkward, but technical difficulties happen, it’s nothing to start a flame war over. I learned some interesting stuff about Starbound, and also about Wanderlust, which I only knew a few small details about before. And both Tiy and Matt made some great points about price models and DMR and other topics. Yeah, I had other windows while I listened to it–that’s what you DO with podcasts.
You instant-gratification trolls really need to take your negativity elsewhere, it is not wanted or needed here.
